Harley-Davidson Master of Technology
Repairs and customizes both customer and dealer owned motorcycles while maintaining productivity and efficiency.  Correctly diagnoses and repairs difficult problems which are beyond the skills of other technicians.  Helps other members of the technical team with advice and assistance, as needed. Requires proper completion of paperwork, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and a focus on quality.  To qualify, applicant must have completed the current Harley-Davidson PhD online and instructor-led curriculum and have been employed for 60 months at a Harley-Davidson dealership to be recognized as a Master of Technology by Harley-Davidson. Experienced Harley-Davidson motorcycle technicians who do not meet all of the qualifications for Master of Technology recognition are still encouraged to apply.

Service Writer

Intakes customer vehicles, diagnoses problems and service needs, schedules work, assigns jobs to service technicians and communicates job status to customer. Requires superior communication and customer service skills. Knowledge and experience with servicing Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them. Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts and Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with computers. Current motorcycle license.

Motorcycle Sales
Provide prompt, dependable, high quality, vehicle sales to customers by using current pro-active feature benefit sales techniques. Attain new and used sales quotas as assigned by the sales manager. Cross Sell Parts and Accessories to all purchasers of new or used vehicles. Maintain profit margin objective for all vehicle sales. Person must have an approachable, likable personality. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated “closing skills”. Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them. Stay current on motorcycle trends and selling features. Remain current with all Sales department training available by reviewing ProSell & P.A.C.E. tapes and attending seminars, workshops, and other related training programs assigned by the Sales Manager.
