 I asked my wife the other day if I could go for a ride. She looked at me out of the corner of her eye, thinking to herself: a), it’s cold outside, and b), of course he can go for a ride – why is he asking?
Well, I had just seen an ad for the Edelweiss Bike Travel Discover Our Earth Expedition. It is a 248-day, 40,000-mile ride around the world, spanning Asia, Europe, North & South America and Australia!
When I told Valerie about this, I reminded her that this would be a much easier ride than that of the guy who rode his Ultra Classic 31,000 miles in 31 days, raising $20,000 for MDA (check out his story in this month’s H.O.G. Magazine!)
I’ve got to admit, I’d love to go for that ride around the world. In fact, at this time of year I’d just settle for being able to ride to work.
Hang in there friends, Daylight Savings Time & Spring are just around the corner! The record snowfall is all but melted, and “our” time of year draws near. Plan to visit us and prepare for the great riding season to come!
