Quaker Steak & Lube. GasWerks Bike Giveaways Coming Up!
Quaker Steak & Lube has ONE bike giveaway left this summer … on Wednesday, September 10, someone will win a 2008 Harley-Davidson Sportster!  It’s gonna be huge! Get there EACH Wednesday and sign up! And on Friday, September 12 at GasWerks, 487 N. Park St. in the Arena District, one lucky person will win a 105th anniversary Harley! PLEASE Answer The Call – Phone Bank Workers Needed For MDA Labor Day Telethon!
For years, members of the A.D. Farrow Co. and Centennial Park H.O.G. Chapters have graciously given a few hours of their time on Labor Day to work the telephones during the annual Jerry Lewis Telethon to benefit MDA, and for this we say THANK YOU! We also hope folks can help out for this year’s event, scheduled for 9 a.m. to Noon, Monday, September 1, at The Blackwell Hotel, 2110 Tuttle Park Place (on the campus of The Ohio State University – motorcycles park right up front!). * August 23 – 6th annual Officer Terry McDowell Memorial Poker Run.  Registration starts at 10 a.m. at Rooster’s, 376 S. Hamilton Rd., Whitehall.  $15 per bike and $5 per passenger. All bikes out by Noon.  Route ends at Captain Jack’s in Heath. All proceeds go to Get Behind the Badge, a charity created to financially help the families of firefighters, police, and peace officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice. * August 23 – 4th annual Cpl. Dustin Derga Poker Run. Club 33, 9645 Basil Western Rd., Canal Winchester. Please join in remembering this fallen member of Lima Company 3rd Battalion 25th Marines, who was killed May 8th, 2005.  Proceeds benefit the Lance Cpl.
