Come Pay Your Respects To A Fallen Hero
This Saturday at 1 p.m. in Carroll, Ohio (on Rt. 33 just southeast of Columbus) funeral services will be held for Lance Corporal James Kimple. The U.S. Marine was killed last week in Iraq. One of his dreams upon returning safely home was to get a motorcycle. To pay tribute to him, motorcyclists are invited to take part in a short procession through town following the funeral. If you are interested and available, please meet at Scoon’s Place, 76 Center St., Carroll, between 1 and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Thank you.

May 17 Race For The Cure “Thunder Tunnel” Details …
Race For the Cure Cheering Section, Downtown Columbus, 8 to 11 a.m. Here’s the scoop:
- FREE donuts and coffee while supplies last!
- We’ll park/cheer on High Street at Chestnut Street (right across the street from the Nationwide Insurance headquarters; different from last year!)
- Pre-event staging will be ON Chestnut Street at High Street from 7:30 to 8 a.m. (stay off of High Street, please; access Chestnut via Third or Fourth streets).
- A group will gather at A.D. Farrow Co., 491 W. Broad St., beginning at 7 a.m. and ride to the spot at 7:45 a.m.

You are going to ride anyway this spring, summer and fall, so why not www.makethemilesmatter.com?  In fact, if you drive, ride a bicycle, run or walk, you can do the same to support of Flying Horse Farms, a camp for terminally & critically ill children being built in Mt. Gilead. (www.flyinghorsefarms.org)  THIS JUST IN: Darris Blackford from the A.D. Farrow Co. Marketing Team will run 2,000 miles (yes, run, on foot) between May 1 and October 15, 2008. If he does not reach the goal, Darris will cancel any pledges made to his effort and pay the amount to the charity out of his own pocket (provided he doesn’t become injured). 2,000 miles is more than 10 miles of running a day, every day. * Sunday, June 8 – Noon to 4 p.m. – Benefit for Flying Horse Farms at Rita’s Italian Ice, 1188 Hill Rd. Pickerington. Proceeds go to Flying Horse Farms!
* Bill Snodgrass and Ken Valverde, representing the Red Knights (firefighters) and Blue Knights (police), are making a charity run from Canada to Mexico to raise funds for Flying Horse Farms on June 7 & 8. They’re going to ride 1,620 miles in 36 hours. Support them with a pledge donation per mile or a single contribution: Make checks payable to Flying Horse Farms and send them to A.D. Farrow Co., 491 W. Broad St., Columbus, 43215.

2nd Annual Ride For Courtney, Sunday, June 1! 
Courtney Vargo is very special to OUR family. Daughter of our Downtown Sales Manager John, last year this angel suffered a brain aneurism and was in a coma. She is recovering, but it takes time and is costly. This ride starts at our Downtown Columbus Dealership and makes several stops, finishing in Pickerington. $20 per rider; $5 per passenger. Bikers For Bones Ride – June 14  
Jennifer Kilman spends her life on wheels and is one of the coolest people we know. She suffers from Brittle Bone Disease, and on June 14 you will get the chance to take part in a scavenger hunt ride to raise funds for research into finding a cure. Cost to ride will only be $20 per person – cars will be welcome, too! We’ll start at A.D. Farrow Co. Shop at NorthStar. When we get back to NorthStar, we’ll also have plates of BBQ and other food for lunch, plus live music from The Christie Angeletti Band! Did you know Nationwide Children’s Hospital and OSU Medical Center are leading research centers for Brittle Bone Disease? PLEASE save June 14 and stay tuned for more details. Thank you!
