Enough Already!
As if it wasn’t already cold and snowy enough in recent weeks, February had the nerve to be one day longer this year! Well March arrives Saturday, so congratulations – you’ve all but endured another winter, and good riding days are closer than ever!

Them’s Fightin’ Words …
Tomorrow and Saturday, February 29 and March 1, A.D. Farrow Co. will be on hand for the big brawl in town, the Ultimate Fighting Championship matches at Nationwide Arena! Specifically, we’ll have a bike as eye candy for the weigh-ins Friday, and then be part of the fight festivities on Saturday.

Big Hearts & Horsepower …
Did you ever go to summer camp as a kid? Good times, huh? Same here. Well, right now in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, a camp is being started for very sick kids (but still very much kids) that we are going to become involved with, and we’d like you to join us. The name is Camp Flying Horse, and it is slated to open in 2009. The roots of this camp can be traced to the actor Paul Newman, whose Hole in the Wall Gang has created similar camps around the country and in other parts of the world. For our part, we’ve formed the Hole in the Ground Gang, and have committed to building the swimming pool! This will be no ordinary pool: All campers, regardless of ability or limits, will be able to use it. We are busily raising funds as well as in-kind support for the pool project. What kind of support, you say? Oh, you know, stuff like tons of concrete, gravel, sand and dirt, thousands of feet of water line, special equipment to warm kids after a cool dip lowers their body temps too much, bulldozers and backhoes or hundreds of shovels so we can dig the hole, the usual. March 15 Mayhem - The Annual Centennial Park Easter Egg Hunt!
When it comes to this event, the UFC fighters got nothing on the kids clamoring for candy-filled plastic eggs! The event starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, at Centennial Park Harley-Davidson. (It usually ends about 7 minutes 55 seconds later after the swarm of kids have picked the field clean!) This hunt is huge – thousands of eggs! All sorts of other fun stuff is also planned for the kids, so be sure to gear up and come out for this truly great family event!

Columbus vs. Cleveland – Saturday, March 15 …
This is not a battle of cities, per se, but of Arena Football teams! This is the home season opener for YOUR Columbus Destroyers, runner-up Arena Bowl Champs in 2007. It also is the first time they’re hosting the team from up north (Cleveland, not that other up north team). Before each home game, the Columbus Bombshells cheerleading squad members take the field on the backs of motorcycles ridden by a team from A.D. Farrow Co.!
