Please Allow Myself To Introduce Myself …
Welcome to the inaugural edition of Live the Dream! This is the official, authorized, unabridged e-newsletter of A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson & Buell in Downtown Columbus, A.D. Farrow Co. Harley-Davidson Shop at NorthStar in Sunbury, and Centennial Park Harley-Davidson In Pataskala! Our three Dealerships already work together to bring you the finest events, activities and of course Harley-Davidson & Buell motorcycles in the Motorcycle Capital of the World, and now we’re teaming up to share the information you need to make the most out of your passion for all things motorcycling. We hope you enjoy where we’re going with these write-ups, and we also hope we’re able to help you Live the Dream!
What Is Living The Dream?
We were sitting around the other day during all of our free time here at the Live the Dream World Headquarters when the question was raised: Who in society has the best time, the most fun, raises the most ruckus in pursuing their passion? Sure, the quilters keep themselves in stitches, coin collectors have their shining moments and even trekkies are out of this world, but truth be told, motorcyclists hold the keys to living life to the fullest. Of course, it helps to have a great motorcycle upon which to Live the Dream, and now at both A.D. Farrow Co. Dealerships and at Centennial Park-Harley-Davidson there is no better time to find the bike of your dreams. With Harley-Davidson’s awesome 1.05 percent finance deal under way (click here), that new bike just might be a very cool 105th anniversary ride. This special deal ends February 2, so if you’re interested let us know NOW! Whatever it is you end up getting, we are certain you’ll have more fun than a numismatist in a bank vault.
A.D. Farrow Co. Chili Cook-Off Is HOT!
The level of interest we’re getting for the third annual Chili Cook-Off at A.D. Farrow Co. in Downtown Columbus is alarming! Things heat up THIS Saturday, January 19, starting at noon at 491 W. Broad St. New this year – FREE samples! Cooks, you get a $10 A.D. Farrow Co. gift card for your efforts, and top five vote-getters will win prizes! Remember, this is the first of three cook-offs we have planned: February’s contest will feature soups, and March’s competition will focus on stew!
Break In The Weather A GREAT Reminder: Get Your Bike In For Service!
Weren’t the 60 degree temperatures last week great? Some folks got so excited they even bought new Harleys! (thank you, you know who you are!). No matter how cold it is outside today, it is going to get warm again, and when it does you’re going to wish you got your bike in for service when it wasn’t! Need more urging? Until January 31, the Motor Company is making it even easier for you with its Elbow Grease program (click here for details). This special is available at A.D. Farrow Co. in Downtown Columbus, at the Shop at NorthStar, and at Centennial Park Harley-Davidson.
First Call For Baked Goods!
Each year during the EasyRider Bike Show Weekend, a bake sale to benefit Children’s Hospital is held at our Downtown Columbus location, 491 W. Broad St. The sale is held in honor of the late Donna Kennedy, a true friend missed by many at the dealership. All baked goods sold are donated by folks like you, so if you are so inclined, we’d be honored to raise money with your candies, cookies, cupcakes, breads, brownies, etc., etc.! Goods can be dropped off between 3 and 5 p.m. on Friday, February 15, or between 8 and 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 16. Thank you!
