  • Guide every guest through Dealership specific sales process
  • Connects, greets, and builds rapport through understanding guests needs and buying motivation
  • Properly fit guests through product demonstrations while overcoming objections for immediate purchase
  • Meet or exceed aggressive, yet realistic and achievable monthly sales goals
  • Track all guests and make sure all prospects are logged along with effective follow-up for all potential buyers by use of a prospecting and sales CRM system
  • Meet or exceed all daily activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, guests logged, and closes
  • Actively participates in daily sales meetings, training, and coaching
  • Actively promotes and facilitates test rides with guests
  • Facilitates dealership departmental team success by being an effective team member
  • Initiate and facilitate guest "Welcome to the Family" path for enhanced guest experience
  • Maintains enthusiasm and display positive attitudes to provide complete guest satisfaction

  • Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Handle telephone transactions quickly and courteously.
  • Ensure customers are properly qualified for needs, wants, and ability to buy.
  • Give each customer a sales process overview.
  • Follow the C.U.S.T.O.M. sales process and employ a value-based selling methodology so that all customers receive consistent treatment when doing business.
  • Lead each customer thoroughly and thoughtfully through the dealershipís value creation model prior to sitting down.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Attain new and pre-owned sales quotas as agreed upon with the sales manager..
  • Follow the dealershipís sales process and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Develop and follow-through on proactive, outbound prospecting plans utilizing both internal and external sources. Break monthly goals for phone calls, outbound contacts, kept appointments, etc. into daily and weekly targets; be accountable.
  • Use floor time effectively to determine and meet customer needs and solicit sales of all products.
  • Present the features of all products to customers along with their benefits. Provide informative walk-around presentations.
  • Show each customer advantages of products over competing brands.
  • Cross sell additional parts, accessories, F&I products, etc. with all new and pre-owned vehicles. Use dealership approved responses for F&I inquiries.
  • Maintain profit margin objectives for all vehicle sales.
  • Follow procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork.
  • Introduce new customers to the service, parts, general merchandise and F&I departments and their personnel.
  • Valid driverís license and motorcycle endorsement, as well as current Ohio salespersonís license. High school diploma preferred. Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them. Applicable experience in big ticket retail sales strongly preferred. Passion for the motorcycling lifestyle and riding community a plus. Must have ability to relate with broad customer base. High energy level needed.

  • Several years of progressive management experience within the sales department of a motor vehicle dealership.
  • Knowledge and experience with sales of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
  • Valid driverís license and motorcycle endorsement, as well as current Ohio salespersonís license.
  • Passion for the motorcycling lifestyle and riding community.
  • Outgoing, likeable personality and the ability to communicate and relate with broad customer base.
  • High energy level needed.
  • Must be able to work effectively with all areas of the dealership to maximize both the buying experience for the customer and the profitability of the dealership.
  • General math, customer service, excellent personal communication, and demonstrated closing skills required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Manage operations of the finance and insurance business of the motorcycle sales department.
  • Present strong presentations on all available programs to new and pre-owned motorcycle customers. Offer every product to every customer every time.
  • Produce targeted levels of revenue, profit and product penetration for the dealership.
  • Cross-sell parts, accessories, and ready-to-ride products to customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with several finance & insurance sources, Harley-Davidson Financial Services and otherwise.
  • Establish realistic monthly finance forecasting in conjunction with the sales department and Dealer Principal to target a desired level of penetration and income.
  • Handle all rate quotations.
  • Submit paperwork to obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals. Follow up on pending approvals.
  • Submit and process chargebacks.
  • Process all funding documents, following through to ensure receipt of monies, including reserve.
  • Establish procedures to ensure timely and proper completion of all paperwork.
  • Maintain the F&I sales log and chargeback file to submit to office at monthís end.
  • Master all aspects of the computer system required for finance & insurance business management.

The motorcycle service business is complex and requires the unique combination of technical knowledge, mentorship capability, customer service skills and management experience at the helm to serve our riders through repairs, upgrades, maintenance, and warranty claims. The right person is needed to lead a team of service advisors, technicians and detailers.

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • MMI graduate and Harley-Davidson Master Technician, highly preferred
  • At least five years of service operations management experience.
  • Progressive management experience and the ability to set and maintain standards.

  • Successful completion and outstanding transcript from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI).
  • At least 3 years of Harley-Davidson dealership technician experience
  • Master of Technology certification
  • Harley-Davidson technical product knowledge and passion for riding.

Riders rely on our service department staff to get them back on the road quickly. The service advisor is critical in the process from intake to customer pick up and serves as the key point of contact for the rider at every step in between. We are seeking highly-motivated, technically-minded, confident communicators with strong multi-tasking and organization skills to join America's Oldest Harley dealer at multiple locations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Completion of a factory-authorized training program, such as Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI), highly preferred. Superior communication and customer service skills. Harley-Davidson technical product knowledge and passion for riding. Experience with point-of-sale software, or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge and experience with computers. Valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Provide assistance to all associates of the service department as needed.
